Do you have dry, frizzy or lifeless hair and want to give it some extra love – without having to buy new ingredients? Then this section is for you! Today we share a super simple recipe for a nourishing and moisturizing hair mask you can make at home with ingredients that most people already have in their kitchen or can easily buy at the grocery store.
💧 Why hair wrap?
Hair is exposed to daily wear and tear from weather, heat tools, styling products and washing. A hair mask is a deep conditioning step that helps to:

Moisturize and soften dry hair

Add shine and reduce frizz

Strengthen and protect hair in the long term

Nourish the scalp
🥣 Recipe: Hair mask with banana, honey and oil
Ingredients:

1 ripe banana
-
1 tbsp honey
-
1–2 tablespoons vegetable oil (olive oil, coconut oil, or canola oil work great)

(optional) A few drops of apple cider vinegar for extra shine
Here's how:

Mash the banana into a completely smooth puree – use a blender or strainer to avoid chunks in your hair.

Add honey and oil (and apple cider vinegar if you like) and mix until smooth.

Apply to freshly washed, towel-dried hair. Also massage into the scalp if you have a dry or sensitive scalp.

Put your hair up and wrap it in plastic wrap or a warm towel.

Leave on for 20–40 minutes.

Rinse thoroughly and wash with a mild shampoo if necessary.
🌿 Tip!

If you have oily hair, reduce the amount of oil and focus on the ends.

For extra moisture: replace the oil with yogurt or a dab of aloe vera gel.

For a protein boost: add an egg yolk (but rinse with cold water!).
