Hydrating mist

Here's a simple DIY recipe for a moisturizing mist that you can make at home:

Moisturizing Mist with Aloe Vera and Rosewater

Ingredients:

  • 50 ml rose water (moisturizing and soothing)
  • 30 ml aloe vera gel (moisturizes and soothes the skin)
  • 10 ml glycerin (moisturizer)
  • 5 drops lavender essential oil (soothing and antibacterial, optional)
  • 1 teaspoon jojoba oil or almond oil (light nourishing oil, optional)
  • 1 spray bottle (100 ml)

Instructions:

  1. Start by sterilizing the spray bottle by washing it with warm water and mild soap, and let it dry.
  2. Mix rose water, aloe vera and glycerin in a small bowl.
  3. If you want to use essential oil and/or a light oil like jojoba oil, add these now.
  4. Pour the mixture into the spray bottle and shake gently to mix the ingredients.
  5. Keep the mist cool, preferably in the refrigerator for an extra cooling effect when applying. The mist lasts up to 2–3 weeks.

Use:

  • Shake the bottle before use.
  • Spray an even layer over the face after cleansing or when you need a refreshing boost during the day.

This moisturizing mist recipe is mild and suitable for all skin types, especially dry or sensitive skin
